Free maintenance services will be provided by KAI for your better experience with SHUN collection.
Please be reminded that:
● SHUN collection shouldn't be used to chop or cut with large forces, which should be avoided in order to prevent problems such as blade breaking or cracking.
● Free maintenance services are only provided for breaks or cracks that are within 3mm.
● If breaks or cracks are greater than 3mm, the knives must be shipped back to headquarters in Japan to be re-edged. A single service as such costs 300 yuan.

● Resharpening service – ₩10,000 per one (Shipping cost is charged to purchaser)
● Repairing – Based on actual cost
● The time of sharpening depends on the workload of the technician. Please be patient.
● All repairs should be picked up within three months from the date of completion, otherwise the ownership of the product will be deemed to be waived.
● The Company will not make any compensation for scratches or wear caused by maintenance.
● All maintenance costs for man-made damage will be quoted separately.
● We reserve the right to make appropriate adjustments to the maintenance and repair costs.

All Michel Bras knives which purchased at retail outlets in Kai Cutlery Hong Kong Limited are available for sharpening service. Details and fees are as follows:
● Ordinary knife sharpening service charges about HKD$80
● If the tool is broken or notched, the charge will be charged according to the case
● It takes approximately two to three weeks
● Can enjoy a permanent free knife sharpening service (designated knife style)
● Return to Japan for sharpening procedure is required
● It takes approximately four to six weeks
※ If you need access to sharpening service, customers must present the receipts together with the knife to our retail outlets to go through the relevant formalities.
